lots of laughs
This week, I had the honor of capturing my boss' photos... say what!! I was beyond intimidated. For what reason?? I don't know why. For those of you who don't know, I work at a marketing firm in Decatur (Cass Concepts) and my official job title is Social Media + Marketing Assistant, but I do a ton of creative work and I'm basically the do everything gal. So why should I have been afraid? For some reason the label "boss"makes things seem more serious. Despite Cassie being my boss, she is much more than that to me. She provides motherly advice, is always there to talk to me about life's most important things, supports my decisions, and is always there to make me laugh (or meditate) when I need it most. I truly gained a family member and mentor when I was taken onto the Cass Concepts team, which are both things I desperately needed at that time, and still need to this day. She gives me boy advice, dyes my hair, and understands my dark humor. A true jack of all trades! I could not be more thankful to have a boss like Cassie. There are not enough words to describe how lucky I am! I look up to her in many ways, and I aspire to be like her someday - both professionally and in life. Thank you for being all that you are, Cassie. The world needs more leaders and innovators like you.
